Deerfield Charitable Trust

Deerfield Charitable Trust was established in 2010 by the estates of Edwin A. and Jane E. Glover, and created exclusively for charitable, scientific, literary, educational, or religious purposes within the IRS non-profit revenue code.  Qualified non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations include those that promote health and wellness and support the arts and further education in the Northern Tioga School District area of Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  

Mr. Glover was a practicing attorney in the Cowanesque Valley area, who authored several historical books and had a passion for local history.  Mrs. Glover was an early librarian at the Knoxville Public Library and had a passion for books and reading.  Both enjoyed fine arts and living in Knoxville, Pennsylvania, where they made their permanent place of residence.  Their personal desire to help those within their hometown community resulted in the establishment of the Deerfield Charitable Trust.
